Abstract

The problem in this study is the low economic learning outcomes of students in class XI SMA Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung, students are less actively involved in economic learning and the lack of interest of students in participating in economic lessons. So that a learning model is needed that can overcome these problems, one of which uses the Numbered Head Together (NHT) type cooperative learning model. This study aims to determine the increase in economic learning activities and outcomes through the Numbered Head Together (NHT) type cooperative learning model for students in class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method by using the Numbered Head Together (NHT) type cooperative learning model. The research subjects were students of class XI IPS 2 at SMA Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung with a total of 31 students. After the research was conducted, it was found that the increase in the percentage of learning activities of students as a whole, namely 42.5% (cycle I) increased to 87.5% (cycle II), in other words, the use of the numbered head together (NHT) learning model was able to increase the learning activities of students in class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung. In addition, the use of the numbered head together (NHT) learning model can improve the economic learning outcomes of students. This is evidenced by the percentage of learning outcomes obtained by students in cycle I of 64% increased in cycle II to 87.09%.
