PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN JIGSAW TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR EKONOMI PESERTA DIDIK KELAS X IPS SEMESTER GENAP SMA NEGERI 2 PADANG CERMIN

The problem in this study is that the results of studying economics are still low. From these problems a learning model is needed that can overcome these problems, one of which is using the jigsaw learning model. Through the jigsaw cooperative learning method it is hoped that it can provide new interesting solutions and atmosphere in teaching so as to provide new concepts. Jigsaw learning brings the concept of innovative understanding and emphasizes the activeness of students, it is hoped that it can improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of the jigsaw learning model on the economics learning outcomes of class X IPS even semester students of SMA Negeri 2 Padang Cermin. This research is using experimental method. The population in this study were all students in class X IPS, totaling 108 students. The sample consisted of class X IPS 1 as an experimental class using the jigsaw learning mode totaling 36 people and X IPS 2 as a control class using conventional learning models totaling 37 people. . Hypothesis testing uses the t-test statistical formula. After testing the hypothesis, it is obtained from calculating the data on economic learning outcomes using statistical formulas, then we get t = 4.21 and ttab = 2.00 at a significant level of 5%. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the jigsaw learning model on the economics learning outcomes of class X IPS students in the even semester of SMA Negeri 2 Padang Cermin for the 2022/2023 academic year.
