Abstract

The problems found in class XI IPS SMA Persada Bandar Lampung are the low activity of students and student learning outcomes during the learning process in class. In this study, the authors used a problem solving logan avenue model that was applied to increase the economic activity and learning outcomes of class XI Social Sciences students on economics subjects at SMA Persada Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2022/2023. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycle stages which in its application uses the Logan Avenue Problem Solving Learning Model in the learning process. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPS SMA Persada Bandar Lampung, totaling 16 students. The results of this study indicate that the average number of student activities has increased from an average of 62.25% in cycle I to 72.68 in cycle 2. The percentage value of student learning outcomes has also increased, in the pre-cycle the percentage of completeness is 31.25. %, the first cycle is 56.25% and the second cycle is 81.25%. From the results of this analysis, it can be concluded that learning activities by applying the Logan Avenue Problem Solving Learning Model can increase the economic activity and learning outcomes of class XI students of SMA Persada Bandar Lampung for the academic year 2022/2023.
