Abstract

The problem in this research is how to improve economic learning outcomes through the Time Token learning model for students of X IPS 1 of SMA Negeri 1 Menggala in the academic year 2021/2022.  The purpose of this study was to find out efforts to improve economic learning outcomes through the Time Token learning model for students in X IPS 1 of SMA Negeri 1 Menggala in the academic year 2021/2022.  This research used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method carried out in two cycle stages which in its applying used the Time Token learning model.  In the learning process, the subjects of this research were all students of X IPS 1 of SMA Negeri 1 Menggala.  Data collection techniques were taken through observation, tests, and interviews.  The results of this study indicate an increase in student activity and learning outcomes, where in the first cycle the activity of students with the criteria was quite active and increases in the second cycle with active criteria.  The percentage of student learning outcomes also increased in the first cycle reaching 42.85% completeness and in the second cycle reaching 82.85% completeness.  The increase in mastery learning outcomes in the first cycle to the second cycle is 40%. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the learning process by applying the Time Token learning model can increase the activity and economic learning outcomes of students in X IPS 1 of SMA Negeri 1 Menggala in academic year 2021/2022.
