The problem in this research is motivated by not maximal activity and student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the application of the synergetic teaching learning method in increasing students' activities and learning outcomes in economics class X IPS 1 SMA Negeri 2 Buay Bahuga. This type of research is classroom action research. From the results of the study the average score of learning activities was 7.36 (quite active) in the first cycle of 7.83 (active) in the second cycle, an increase in the score from the first cycle to the second cycle was 0.47. Student learning outcomes reached an average score of 68.87 in the first cycle and increased to 75.32 in the second cycle. Mastery learning has increased where in the first cycle the percentage is 67.74% and the second cycle is 87.10% Country 2 Buay Bahuga.
