Abstract

This research aims to develop a learning media in the form of a Canva-based Electronic Student Worksheet (E-LKPD) on the topic of the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence for class XI.1 of SMA PIRI Jati Agung in the 2024/2025 academic year. The background of the study is the low student interest in history subjects, which is mainly caused by the use of conventional teaching methods and unappealing, non-interactive learning media. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and validation questionnaires by material experts, media experts, and language experts, as well as product trials involving students. The validation results showed that the Canva-based E-LKPD was categorized as “very feasible” in terms of content, design, and language. Student responses indicated increased interest and better understanding of historical material. The E-LKPD was considered visually engaging, easily accessible, and relevant to 21st-century learning needs. Therefore, the Canva-based E-LKPD is effective as an alternative medium to enhance the quality of history learning in senior high schools. This product is expected to be an innovative solution for creating more interactive, enjoyable, and meaningful learning experiences.
