UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SEJARAH DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN CROSSWORD PUZZLE BERBASIS PUZZLE MAKER PADA SISWA KELAS X SMKS TAMAN SISWA TELUK BETUNG BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2024/2025

This study examines the low history learning outcomes of Grade X AKL students at SMKS Taman Siswa Teluk Betung. The objective of this research is to improve students’ history learning outcomes by applying the Crossword puzzle method to the Grade X AKL 2 students at SMKS Taman Siswa Teluk Betung during the 2024/2025 academic year. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study are the 23 students of Class X AKL 2 at SMKS Taman Siswa Teluk Betung. This research is a collaborative effort between the researcher and the history subject teacher. Data collection techniques used include tests, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was based on students’ learning activities and their learning outcomes. The research was conducted by implementing the Crossword puzzle learning method. The results showed an improvement in students' learning outcomes across the pre-cycle, Cycle I, and Cycle II stages. In the pre-cycle, only 6 students achieved the minimum passing score, with an average score of 58.04. In Cycle I, the number of students who achieved the passing score increased to 13 students or 56.52%. In Cycle II, there was a further increase, with 18 students or 78.26% achieving the passing score. It can be concluded that the use of the Crossword puzzle learning method can improve the learning outcomes of Grade X students at SMKS Taman Siswa Teluk Betung.
