PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN ULAR TANGGA SEJARAH (HISTORICAl SNAKES AND LADDERS GAME) PADA MATERI KEHIDUPAN MASYARAKAT PRA-AKSARA KELAS X.5 SMA NEGERI 2 GEDONG TATAAN

This study aims to develop and analyze the feasibility of Snakes and Ladders game-based learning media in improving students' understanding of historical material, especially the topic of prehistoric society in Indonesia. The research activity was carried out in class X.5 of SMA Negeri 2 Gedong Tataan using a Research and Development (R&D) approach through the ADDIE development model, which includes five systematic stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The validation results obtained from media experts and material experts showed a very high level of feasibility, with a percentage of 91% and 94% respectively, which were categorized as "Very Valid". In addition, the results of trials on teachers and students showed very positive responses, with a percentage of 95% from teachers on the practicality aspect of use and 90% from students on the aspect of learning effectiveness. The learning media developed was designed visually through the use of color elements, images, and interactive components that were adjusted to the characteristics of historical material. This aims to create a more interesting, meaningful, and participatory learning experience for students. Thus, the Snakes and Ladders History learning media developed through this research can be used as an innovative and feasible alternative to support the improvement of the quality of history learning at the Senior High School level, especially at SMA Negeri 2 Gedong Tataan.
