UPAYA GURU BK DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN MORAL SISWA MELALUI TEKNIK BEHAVIOR PADA SISWA KELAS XI SMA NEGRI 8 BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2024/2025

This research is an effort by the guidance and counseling (BK) teacher to develop students' morals through behavioral techniques in Grade XI students of SMA N 8 Bandar Lampung during the 2024/2025 academic year. Education aims to guide the development of human personality in a positive direction, as only through proper development can the purpose of human life be achieved. In other words, the specific goal of education is to foster the development of a good human personality. Data were obtained through observation and interviews. From these observations and interviews, it was found that 8 students exhibited low moral behavior. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to improve student morals through behavioral techniques. The method used in this study is classroom guidance action research. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher employed observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results observed in Cycle I, 2 students showed behavioral changes, while 6 students had not yet improved. In Cycle II, all 8 students demonstrated changes in behavior, with an increase in moral improvement from 58.12% to 83.75%. From the results above, it can be concluded that the BK teacher’s efforts to improve student morals through behavioral techniques in Grade XI at SMA N 8 Bandar Lampung in the 2024/2025 academic year significantly helped address moral issues. The behavioral technique (aversive conditioning) provided students with opportunities to eliminate their bad habits.
