EFEKTIVITAS BK DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN TEKNIK VIDEO CONFERENCE DI SMK PGRI 1 BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2023/2024

Abstract

Motivation is the driver or impetus that causes someone to want to study or learn a learning material wich the higher the learing motivation, the higher the learning results. Poor motivation to learn that exists in students due to the factor of laziness is also caused in learning. Teachers have not developed interesting learning strategies or methods so that students do not have an interest in being active in learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of video conferencing techniques in group guidance services in increasing motivation of class XI students at SMK PGRI 1 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2023/2024. This research is a quantitative research Experiment – Pre Experimental Design (non design) with experimental type One – Group Pretest – Posttest Design. In this study there were 10 students in class XI as a sample. This research instrument is a learing motivation questionnaire developed to determine the in crease in student motivation. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that there is an increase of 23,8 in the post-test value of 83,3 after being given group guidance services with video conference techniques which previously obtained a pre-test value of 59,5. The results of this study are also reinforced by the results of the T- Test at the 5% Significance level, it is known that the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000 or 0,000 < 0,005. Thus it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, namely the video conference technique using group guidance is effective in increasing the learning motivation of class XI students at SMK PGRI 1 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2023/2024.
