UPAYA MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI METODE REWARD AND PUNISHMENT PADA BAHASA INDONESIA DI KELAS II SD KARTIKA II-5 (PERSIT) BANDAR LAMPUNG

The problem of the research is need to increase learning motivation at class II-C students at SD Kartika II-5 (Persit) Bandar Lampung 1) students are not active captur the lessons are given by the teacher in the learning process , 2) students do not understand the text and punctuation in Indonesian language, 3) students do not understand the content of reading text and punctuation in Indonesian language 4)there are not variation of learning methods . The purpose of the research is to increase student motivation that has a direct impact on Indonesian language learning using the reward and punishment method at class II C SD Kartika II-5 (Persit) Bandar Lampung students. The method of the research is use classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of the research are 21 class II C SD Kartika II-5 (Persit) Bandar Lampung students. The Data collection techniques are test, questionnaire and observation sheets. The indicator of learning reservh is all of percentage of 80% of the total number of students who got KKM scores. The research of results were (1) students' motivation in cycle I percentage of 68.84% and increased in cycle II to 83.73% and (2) the result of students' learning Indonesian language each cycle increase that pre-cycle got 42.86%, then increased in cycle I got percentage 61.91% and increased in cycle II got 85.71%. Based on the results of the method it can be concluded that the application of the reward and punishment method can increase learning motivation which has a direct on the results of Indonesian language at class II C SD Kartika II-5 (Persit) Bandar Lampung.
