PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN RECIPROCAL TEACHING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA PESER TA DIDIK KELAS III DI SD NEGERI 1 GUNUNG BATIN UDIK TAHUN PELAJARAN2023/2024

Abstract

This research is motivated by several problems that occur in the learning activities of SD Negeri 1 Gunung Batin Udik, namely the low reading skills of students, the lack of students in understanding the content of reading, the content of the text in Indonesian language learning and the lack of appropriate methods used in learning in class III SD Negeri 1 Gunung Batin Udik. The purpose of this study was to analyze how the implementation of learning using the reciprocal teaching learning model in grade III students at SD Negeri 1 Gunung Batin Udik in the 2023 school year. This research is included in Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. One cycle consists of 4 stages of activity, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage and the reflection stage. The subject of this research is class III SDN 1 Gunung Batin Udik with a total of 20 students. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is an increase in the reading skills of third grade students at SD Negeri 1 Gunung Batin Udik in the 2023 school year with the application of the Reciprocal Teaching learning model. This can be seen from the pre-cycle condition with an average value of 64.25%, after the action in cycle I obtained an average value of 70%, and in cycle II it increased to 78.5%.
