PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA BIG BOOK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MEMBACA PERMULAAN DI KELAS 1 SD NEGERI 3 KETEGUHAN BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN 2022/2023

This research is motivated by the low reading ability of students and the use of learning media that is less than optimal in supporting the learning activities of beginning reading in grade 1 SD Negeri 3 Keteguhan Bandar Lampung. This study aims to determine the level of feasibility, students' responses, effectiveness and the process of developing Big book media products in learning beginning reading in grade 1 SD Negeri 3 Keteguhan Bandar Lampung. The type of research used is Development research with the ADDIE Model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Data collection techniques using interviews and questionnaires. Based on the results of the study obtained the results of media expert validation with a percentage of 94%, the results of material expert validation with a percentage of 91% and the results of language expert validation with a percentage of 83%. Furthermore, the results of the analysis of the effectiveness of the use of big book media resulted in a percentage of completeness of 96%. In addition, the results of product trials related to students' responses to big book media produced a percentage of 92% in the small group test and a percentage of 95% in the large group test. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that there is effectiveness, feasibility and process in the development of big book media in learning beginning reading in grade 1 SD Negeri 3 Keteguhan Bandar Lampung.
