Abstract

The problems that exist in this study are (1) Many students whose learning outcomes have not reached KKM, (2) Lack of students' understanding of the material taught by the teacher, (3) Student learning activities are still minimal and need to be further improved, (4) Lack of variations of appropriate learning models to solve problems in social studies lessons. This study aims to determine the increase in social studies learning outcomes through the application of the Two Stay Two Stray learning model to fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Kaliawi. This research is a class action research (CAR) conducted through two (2) cycle stages that apply the Two Stay Two Stray learning model with 26 students as subjects. Analysis of the data used to determine student learning activities through observation sheets which are analyzed using the percentage of student learning activity for each student activity, for analysis of learning outcomes data using the average value and learning completeness based on assessment. The results of the study show that student learning outcomes after the application of the Two stay two stray learning model have increased very well. In the pre-cycle, it obtained an average score of 67.16% with a learning completeness percentage of 25%, then it increased in cycle I by obtaining an average score of 71.83% with a learning completeness percentage of 45.83% and in cycle II it obtained an average -an average score of 75.33% with a learning completeness percentage of 79.16% and for teacher activity while carrying out the Two stay stray two learning model experienced a very good increase. In cycle I obtained a percentage of 74% in the good category. In cycle II, a percentage of 94% was obtained, and student activity while implementing the Two stay two stray learning model experienced a very good increase. In cycle I obtained a percentage of 72% in the good category. In cycle II, it obtained a percentage of 92%.
