UPAYA MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR PPKN MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE PADA SISWA KELAS 4 SD INSAN MANDIRI

The problem is caused by the low PPKn learning outcomes of class 4C students, low PPKn learning activities, the lack of students' ability to understand the material and the lack of variety in the use of learning models. This study aims to determine the increase in learning activities and learning outcomes of Civics after being taught using the think pair share cooperative learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research in which there are two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The subjects in this study were 22 students in class 4C of SD Insan Mandiri. Collecting data in the think pair share cooperative learning model is in the form of observation sheets, learning achievement tests and documentation. Mastery learning outcomes in this study reached 80% of the total number of students. Based on the results of this study, it showed that there was an increase in the activity and learning outcomes of PPKn students in grade 4C SD Insan Mandiri. This can be seen from the increase in 1) teacher activity in cycle I, which was 72.5%, while in cycle II, it experienced an increase of 92.5% where an increase of 20%. 2) student learning activity in cycle I was 68.26%, while in cycle II it increased by 84.39% where the increase was 16.13%, 3) student learning outcomes in cycle I was 68.18% and then increased in cycle II of 86.36% where the increase was 18.18%. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that learning by applying the think pair share cooperative learning model can increase the activities and learning outcomes of Civics students in grade 4 SD Insan Mandiri.
