Abstract

The problem studied in this study is regarding the low learning outcomes of history. The learning model chosen is the CORE learning model. This study aims to improve learning outcomes on the material history of the revolution upholding the banner of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia in class XI students at SMA Adiguna Bandar Lampung. This research is a class action research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles consisting of the stages of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were class XI IPA which consisted of 16 students. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques, tests, and documentation. The results showed that the results of student learning activities in cycle I obtained an average percentage of 60% and in cycle II obtained an average percentage of 83.33%. While the learning outcomes obtained in cycle I obtained an average of 73.44 with a learning completeness percentage of 68.75% and in cycle II obtained an average of 78.91 with a learning completeness percentage of 87.50%. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that by applying the connecting, organizing, reflecting, extending (CORE) learning model, it can improve learning outcomes on the material history of the revolution upholding the banner of the Republic of Indonesia in class XI students in the even semester of SMA Adiguna Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year.
