UPAYA MENINGKATKAN ETIKA BERBICARA SISWA MELALUI TEKNIK SOSIODRAMA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 21 BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2022/2023

The purpose of this study was to find out how the application of the services carried out by the counseling teacher in improving the speaking ethics of students at SMP Negeri 21 Bandar Lampung for the 2022/2023 school year and to see how the changes occurred after the application of the sociodrama technique was given to SMP Negeri 21 Bandar Lampung for the 2022 academic year. 2023. This study used the guidance and counseling action research method (PTBK) with a sample of 8 students selected by purposive sampling. The results showed that in the actions from cycle I to cycle II, group guidance service activities in improving the ethics of speaking class VIII students of SMP Negeri 21 Bandar Lampung had been carried out well. This is evident from the results of the achievement of the results of cycle II which showed an increase in good speaking ethics in students, namely 74.6% and this result has reached the target set by the researchers, namely 70%. The results of the student speaking ethics questionnaire instrument with group guidance services showed that this research, starting from the activities before the action until the research ended, found satisfactory results because there was an increase in each cycle, namely in cycle I after the service was given the average score obtained by students only increased, namely 40, 3%. And after the service was carried out in cycle II, the average score obtained by students increased to 74.6% and had reached the expected target.
