Abstract

This research was carried out based on the phenomenon that there are still many class becomes something that is mastered by students as supporting their social skills, through providing sociodrama technical group guidance it is hoped that it can improve the public speaking skills of students at SMAN 1 BENGKUNAT, the main aim of this research is to test the effectiveness of the sociodrama technical group guidance service for this type of research is a counseling guidance action research method, data collection using interview observation and supplemented with documentation, through observations carried out at the initial stage there were 8 students who had low public speaking skills, so they did not have the confidence to speak in public or in interacting in front of a large audience, then after being provided with sociodrama technical group guidance services, where during implementation they are divided into several groups, and each individual has their own role, so that students who previously lacked self-confidence have begun to dare to express their opinions. and the structure of the language used is getting better.
