PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PAIR CHECK DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PPKN SISWA DI KELAS III SD NEGERI 1 MERBAU MATARAM TAHUN AJARAN 2022/2023

Pair Check is a method of learning in groups between two people or in pairs. This model applies cooperative learning that demands independence and student ability to solve problems. The purpose of this study is to find out and describe the effectiveness of using the pair Check learning model in improving PPKn learning outcomes. The method in this study is the Class Action Research Method (PTK). The subjects in the study were grade III students of SD Negeri 1 Merbau Mataram consisting of 29 students. The data collection technique used in this study is a test in the form of a series of questions or exercises that are used to measure the skills, knowledge, intelligence, abilities, or aptitudes possessed by individuals or groups. The results of this study show that the application of the Pair Check learning model can increase student learning activities in KDP learning. Of the 29 students who took part in pre-cycle activities, it was known that as many as 12 students had reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) with a percentage of completion of 41.37%. Meanwhile, 17 students with a percentage of 58.62% still have not reached the predetermined completion limit. After the Pair Check learning model was applied, there was an increase in student activities and learning outcomes. The increase can be seen from the results of observations of student activities with an average score of cycle I of 6.72% while in cycle II of 10.76%, thus the increase from the results of cycle I to cycle II of (4.04%). Furthermore, learning through the application of the Pair Check learning model can improve the learning outcomes of grade III students of SD N 1 Merbau Mataram, in cycle I the percentage of completion is (44.82%) and in cycle II it is (89.65%). Thus, the increase from cycle I to cycle II amounted to (44.83%).
