Abstract

The main problem found in this study is that Civics learning outcomes are still low. This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model type team games tournament (TGT) on learning outcomes of fourth grade Civics at SD Negeri 2 Waluyojati. This type of research is a posttest only control design. The sample consisted of class IVA as the experimental class which amounted to 21 people and IVB as the control class which amounted to 20 people. The data analysis technique used normality test with chi square test, homogeneity test with fisher's test. Followed by hypothesis testing with t-test. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of the research data, the results of the hypothesis test were obtained with the results of the test t = 3.56 > ttab = 2.02, so that H0 was rejected, meaning Ha was accepted. PPKn learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Waluyojati.
