UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA TANGRAM SISWA KELAS IV SDS SWADHIPA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2021/2022

Abstract

Mathematics lessons that are still difficult for students make students passive in learning. This makes mathematics learning outcomes low, therefore this study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes for even semester IVA grades through tangram media at SDS Swadhipa Natar in the 2021/2022 school year. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this research were 20 students in grade IVA SDS Swadhipa Natar for the academic year 2021/2022. The object of this research is the result of learning mathematics in the material of regular and irregular polygons. The implementation of the action was carried out in two cycles and each cycle consisted of two meetings. The method used is test questions and observation sheets. Data collection techniques used are quantitative and qualitative data. The results showed that the use of tangram media in mathematics learning could improve student learning outcomes in grade IVA SDS Swadhipa Natar. This is evident in the pre-cycle class average of 64.55 and a percentage of 30%, in the first cycle it increases to a class average of 65 and a percentage of 50%, the class average becomes 81 and a percentage of 90% in the second cycle. Likewise, the results of observing student activities in the first cycle were 65.25% and increased to 8.75% in the second cycle.
