Abstract

This research is motivated by various problems in grade 2A students of SD Negeri 02 Candi Rejo Way Pengubuan, namely the acquisition of Civics learning outcomes has not been maximized. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of grade 2 students at SD Negeri 02 Candi Rejo Way Pengubuan by using the picture and picture learning model. This research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 2 (two) cycles. Each cycle consists of stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class 2A SD Negeri 02 Candi Rejo Way Pengubuan, totaling 22 students. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests and documentation. After applying the picture and picture cooperative learning model, teacher activities, student activities and student learning outcomes have increased. The research results obtained are (1) teacher activity in the first cycle using the picture and picture learning model of 83.33% and in the second cycle of 95.83% and an increase of 12.5% ​​(2) student activity in the second cycle I by using the picture and picture learning model of 65.91% and in the second cycle of 88.64% and an increase of 22.73% and (3) the learning outcomes of Civics in the first cycle using the picture and picture learning model obtained the percentage of completeness by 72.73% and increased in the second cycle by obtaining a percentage of completeness of 86.36% and an increase of 13.63%.
