PENGGUNAAN MEDIA GAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA PADA SISWA KELAS IV DI SD NEGERI LEGUNDI KECAMATAN KETAPANG LAMPUNG SELATAN

This research is motivated by the low activity and student learning outcomes in science subjects. The purpose of this study was to increase the activeness and learning outcomes of science by using image media. This type of research is classroom action research which is carried out in two cycles. The subjects of this study were students of class IVA SD Negeri Legundi, totaling 23 students. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and tests. From the results of the study it can be concluded that (1) teacher activity in the first cycle was 77.94% and in the second cycle increased by 92.65%. (2) Student activity in the first cycle was 70.59% and increased in the second cycle by 89.71%. And (3) learning outcomes in the first cycle, namely pretest by 47.83% and posttest by 60.87%, increased in cycle II, namely pretest by 73.91% and posttest by 86.96%. From these results, it can be concluded that learning using image media can improve science learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SD Negeri Legundi.
