PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE GROUP INVESTIGATION PADA SISWA KELAS V SDN 11 GEDONG TATAAN

: The problem in this study is the low social studies learning outcomes of class VB students at SDN 11 Gedong Tataan. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes by applying the group investigation type cooperative learning model. This type of research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles where each cycle is carried out in three meetings. The research procedure includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were 20 students in class VB at SDN 11 Gedong Tataan. The data collection technique used a learning outcomes test sheet which included a test in cycle I and cycle II. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the social studies learning outcomes of students classically get a percentage in the first cycle, which is 70%, increasing in the second cycle to 85%. From these results, it can be concluded that learning by applying the group investigation type cooperative learning model can improve social studies learning outcomes for fifth grade students at SDN 11 Gedong Tataan.
