Abstract

The main problem found in this study is that the acquisition of student learning outcomes is still not maximal. This study aims to determine the effect of the numbered head together (NHT) learning model on science learning outcomes. This type of research is a true experimental design, where the research design used is a posttest only control design. The population in this study was the fifth grade students of SDN 1 Bandar Dalam, amounting to 46 students, the sample class VA as the experimental class which amounted to 21 people and VB as the control class which amounted to 25 people. The data analysis technique used normality test with chi square test, homogeneity test with fisher's test. Followed by hypothesis testing with t-test. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of the research data, the results of the hypothesis test t = 5.64 > ttab = 2.02, meaning Ha is accepted so it can be concluded that there is an effect of the numbered head together (NHT) learning model on science learning outcomes in fifth grade students of SDN. 1 Inner City.
