This study aims to determine the increase in activity and learning outcomes through cooperative learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT). This research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study were fourth grade students, totaling 16 students, 9 males and 7 females. Data collection techniques used are non-test (observation, documentation), and test (evaluation test). The findings in the study are science learning activities in the first cycle of 47.75 in the (quite active) category, while in the second cycle it increased to 79.96 with the (active) category. The learning outcomes of pre-cycle students were 18.75 (3 students completed), in the first cycle 43.75 (7 students completed), in the second cycle increased by 87.5 (14 students completed). Thus, the cooperative learning model of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) type can increase the activity and learning outcomes of science for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 9 Kedondong.
