Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes on the content of learning mathematics on flat shapes using nailed board media for class III at SD N Semana. The research method is classroom action research with four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects are third grade students at SD N Semana for the academic year 2021/2022. The data collection technique uses test, observation, and documentation techniques. Before taking action in cycle I and cycle II, the researcher conducted a pre-cycle test and obtained the results of students who completed as many as 6 students or 27.27%. The results of the study: after the first cycle of action, the percentage of students' completeness reached 63.63%. Of the 22 students, there were 14 students whose grades were complete with a class average of 69.54. After the second cycle of action, the percentage of students' completeness rose to 86.36%. Of the 22 students, there were 19 students whose grades were complete with a class average of 85.45. Based on the data above, the use of nailed board learning media can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects, especially the third grade flat shape material at SD Negeri Semana for the 2021/2022 academic year.
