UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS MELALUI STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN CROSSWORD PUZZLE PADA SISWA KELAS IV SEMESTER GENAP SD NEGERI 1 LANGKAPURA BANDAR LAMPUNG

This research is motivated by the lack of maximum student learning outcomes, lack of enthusiasm and interest of students, the role of the teacher in learning is still too dominant, the lack of media use in social studies learning and the learning process that does not involve student activity. This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Langkapura. This type of research is classroom action research which is carried out collaboratively. The subject of this research is class IVA which consists of 29 students. Data collection techniques used are tests, observations and documentation. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes in the first cycle got an average score of 68.62 with a percentage of 68.97%, and in the second cycle got an average score of 75 with a percentage of 89.66%. Based on the results of the explanation above, it can be concluded that the use of crossword puzzle learning strategies can improve social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Langkapura.
