PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBASIS ARTIFICIAL INTELEGENCE (AI) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS VIII SMP N 17 PESAWARAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2025/2026

This study aims to determine the effect of artificial intelligence (AI) based problem-based learning model on the mathematical problem-solving ability of eighth-grade junior high school students in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study is an experimental study with the research population being all eighth-grade students in the odd semester of SMP Negeri 17 Pesawaran. Class VIII D is the experimental class and class VIII E is the control class. The sampling technique used is Cluster Random Sampling. Measurement of students' mathematical problem-solving ability uses an essay-shaped test of 5 questions. Data analysis uses a prerequisite analysis test with the acquisition of t_hit = 4.16 and for a significance level of 5% (α = 0.05) obtained t_daf = 1.67. Thus t_hit>t_daf then there is not enough reason to accept H_0, meaning H_a is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of an artificial intelligence (AI)-based problem-based learning model has an impact on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of eighth-grade junior high school students in the 2025/2026 academic year.
