The study aims to determine and analyze the effectiveness of using HOTS-Based LKPD on the Mathematical Problem Solving Ability of Class VIII Students of SMP NEGERI 6 Tulang Bawang Barat in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. This study uses an experimental method. The population in this study were all students of class VIII in the even semester of SMP NEGERI 6 Tulang Bawang consisting of 8 classes with a total of 250 students, while the sample was taken from 2 classes, namely class VIII 2 as the experimental class, and class VIII 6 as the control class. After the normal and homogeneous data were obtained, the results of the hypothesis testing using the t-test obtained a value of t = 3.94. From the t distribution table at a significance level of 5%, it is known that t = t(1-α) = 1.67 t > t so it can be concluded that "The Use of HOTS-Based LKPD is Effective on the Mathematical Problem Solving Ability of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 6 Tulang Bawang Barat in the 2024/2025 Academic Year".
