EFEKTIVITAS PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN REALISTIC MATHEMATIC EDUCATION (RME) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH SISWA X SMA YP UNILA BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN AJARAN 2024/2025

low level ability of students to solve mathematical problems is caused by less effective learning models. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) learning model in improving the mathematical problem solving abilities of class X SMA YP UNILA Bandar Lampung. This research took the form of Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) which was carried out in 2 cycles in class X-5 with a total of 36 students. The level of students' mathematical problem solving abilities is measured by written tests on Pra-siklus and at the end of siklus-I and siklus-II. And it is also supported by the results of observations of student activities during class and student responses to the learning model used. Based on the results of written tests, observations and positive student responses, the RME learning model is effective in improving the problem solving abilities of class X SMA YP UNILA 2024/2025 academic year.
