PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR EKONOMI PADA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI IPS SEMESTER GENAP DI SMA NEGERI 6 BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2022/2023

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the learning model applied by the teacher so far has not made students active in teaching and learning activities and the low learning outcomes of students in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung. So it takes a learning model that can overcome these problems, one of which uses the Discovery Learning learning model. This study aims to determine the application of the discovery learning model in improving the economic learning outcomes of students in class XI social studies even semester of SMA Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung 2022/2023. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. The subjects in this study were XI IPS class students totaling 30 students. The data analyzed were the results of observations of teacher and student activities, interview results, and student evaluation results. After the class action research was conducted, it was known that the percentage of students' learning activities increased from 7,11 % in cycle I to 7,74% in cycle II. The percentage of students' economic learning outcomes has increased, namely 68,19% in cycle I increasing to 78,64% in cycle II.
