Abstract

The problem in this study is that the learning outcomes of students in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung have not been maximized, students are not actively involved in learning interactions, learning activities are still teacher-centered. This study aims to determine the effect of the Make a Match learning model on the economics learning outcomes of students in class XI IPS even semester at SMA Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year. This study uses an experimental method using the Make a Match learning model. The population in this study were all students in class XI IPS, totaling 160 students. The sample consisted of class XI IPS 4 as an experimental class that used the Make a Match learning model with a total of 30 students and XI IPS 5 as a control class that used conventional learning models. totaling 30 students. Hypothesis testing uses the t-test statistical formula. After testing the hypothesis, it is obtained from calculating the data on economic learning outcomes using statistical formulas, then we get t_hit = 7.38 and t_daf = 2.00 at the 5% level. This means that there is an effect of the Make a Match learning model on the economics learning outcomes of students in class XI IPS even semester at SMA Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year.
