Abstract

The problems in this study were (1) the general administration learning outcomes of class X OTKP 1 students were still low, (2) during the learning process there were still many students who did not pay attention to the teacher in explaining general administration material in class, (3) Students are less actively involved in general administration learning which requires good understanding of learning, (4) During the learning process, there are still many students who are unclear about the material being conveyed so that it has an impact on understanding the material that is not optimal. This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes by applying the inquiry learning model to students in class X OTKP 1 SMK Taman Siswa Telukbetung in the 2022/2023 academic year. This research is a class action research (CAR) conducted through two stages of the cycle by applying the inquiry learning model to students in class X OTKP 1 SMK Taman Siswa Telukbetung with a total of 35 students who have diverse learning abilities. The data analysis used to measure the increase in learning outcomes and learning activities is quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Based on the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) students for general administration subjects are said to achieve general administration learning mastery if they achieve a score of ≥76, while qualitative analysis is used to measure students' learning activities with observation sheets. Increased mastery of student learning outcomes in cycle 1 with a total of 20 students with a percentage of 71.7% who completed while in cycle 2 as many as 29 students 82.8% who completed. The results showed that the active learning of students from cycle 1 to cycle 2 increased, namely 45.7% in cycle 1 increased to 77% in cycle 2. Based on this analysis, learning activities using the inquiry learning model in general administration subjects can increase learning outcomes and the active learning of class X OTKP 1 SMK Taman Siswa Telukbetung.
