Abstract

The problems studied in this study are the low economic learning outcomes of students, the lack of enthusiasm of students, the learning methods used have not varied. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on the economic learning outcomes of students in class XI IPS even semester at SMA Negeri 1 Kalianda in the 2022/2023 academic year. This study used an experimental method, in which there were two classes tested, class XI IPS 1 as the experimental class and class XI IPS 2 as the control class with a sampling technique using Cluster Random Sampling. Data collection instruments for students' economic learning outcomes were obtained by giving a multiple-choice test totaling 40 questions. Data analysis techniques using analysis prerequisite test and hypothesis testing using the t test. The results of the hypothesis test showed that the value of t_hit = 4.41 by looking at the test criteria with a significant level of 5% (α = 0.05) obtained t_tab = 2.00. So it can be concluded that t_hit=4.41>t_tab=2.00 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that "there is an influence of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on the economic learning outcomes of students in class XI IPS even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year.
