PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN TALKING STICK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR EKONOMI PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI IPS SEMESTER GENAP SMA NEGERI 5 BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2022/2023

The problem studied in this study is the low economic learning outcomes in class XI IPS even semester students of SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year, this problem is caused by the not yet maximal economic learning outcomes of students, the lack of interest in students' learning towards economics subjects in particular, as well as students assume that economics lessons are boring subjects. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Talking Stick learning method on economic learning outcomes. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The independent variable is the Talking Stick learning method, while the dependent variable is economics learning outcomes. The population in this study was class XI IPS even semester at SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung 2022/2023 consisting of 143 sample students who were taken using the cluster random sampling technique, the research sample was 72 students. At the data collection stage using interview techniques, pretest (pretest), treatment, final test (posttest) and documentation. Based on the results of the research conducted by the researcher, there were 36 students in class XI IPS 1 as an experimental class. The highest score achieved by students was 95, while the lowest score obtained by students was 55. From these data it can be seen that all respondents had grades an average of 79.1. Meanwhile, of the 36 students in class XI IPS 3 as the control class, the highest score was 80 and the lowest score was 40 with an average score of students in class XI IPS 3 of 63.4. Based on the calculation results, it can be explained that "There is the effect of the Talking Stick learning method on economic learning outcomes in class XI IPS even semester students at SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 Academic Year”.
