Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in economic activity and learning outcomes for students of class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year by applying the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycle stages, each cycle is carried out following the procedures of planning, action, observation, and reflection by applying the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model in the learning process. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung with a total of 31 students. The results showed that by using the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model for class XI IPS 2, the activities of students increased by 6.89% in the first cycle to 7.92% in the second cycle. The improvement of students' completeness in economic learning outcomes increased from the first cycle of 14 students or 45.17%, to 25 students or 80.65% in the second cycle. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model can improve economic learning outcomes for students in class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year.
