Abstract

The main problems in this study are 1) economic learning outcomes are still low 2) lack of interaction and student interest in learning and, 3) lack of maximum understanding of students in studying economics using Contextual Teaching and Learning methods. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model on economic learning outcomes in class X IPA students at SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung in the 2021/2022 academic year. This study uses an experimental method using a Contextual Teaching and Learning model. The population in this study were students of X IPA totaling 138 students, the sample consisted of class X IPA 1, experimental class, totaling 37 people, and X IPA 2 control class, totaling 37 people. Hypothesis testing and calculating the data on economic learning outcomes using statistical formulas, obtained thit = 5.99 and ttab = 2.00 at a significant level of 5%. This means that there is an influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model on economic learning outcomes in class X science students at SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung in the 2021/2022 academic year.
