Abstract

The problem addressed in this study relates to the suboptimal learning outcomes of students in the economics subject in grade X at SMA Negeri 1 Way Khilau in the 2025/2026 academic year. This problem is caused by teachers not selecting and using the appropriate learning models. Students' lack of interest in learning and their lack of participation in learning activities also contribute to this problem. This study aims to determine whether the Two Stay Two Stray (TS-TS) strategy has an effect on the learning outcomes of students in the 10th grade at SMA Negeri 1 Way Khilau in the 2025/2026 academic year. The method used is the experimental method. The population in this study was all 10th grade students, with the sample consisting of 10th grade class 1 as the experimental class and 10th grade class 2 as the control class. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The required data was obtained through a test, which was previously tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using the t-test formula according to Sudjana. From the t-test results, a value of 3.20 was obtained. From the distribution table at a significance level of 5% (α = 0.05), it was found that 2.00, meaning >. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Two Stay Two Stray (TS-TS) learning strategy on the economic learning outcomes of 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Way Khilau in the 2025/2026 academic year.
