Abstract

This study is motivated by the lack of use of learning media, the economic learning process that is less varied and the low motivation of students to learn and feel bored quickly in paying attention to learning. This study aims to determine the feasibility and response of students to animated video learning media on economic activity material for Class X.1 SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung. The research method used is R&D (research and development) and through the ADDIE development procedure which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Product validation was completed by linguist validators who stated that the animated video learning media on the material of economic activities developed obtained a percentage result of 90% with the interpretation criteria of “very feasible”, while the results of material expert validation stated that the animated video learning media on the material of economic activities developed obtained a percentage result of 96.36% with the interpretation criteria of “very feasible”, then the results of media expert validation stated that the animated video learning media on the material of economic activities developed obtained a percentage result of 92% with the interpretation criteria of “very feasible”. While the response of students in the field trial obtained a percentage of 86% with the interpretation criteria “very feasible”. The development of animated video learning media on economic activity material for X.1 students of SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung using the research and development (R&D) research method, it can be concluded that the use of animated video learning media on economic activity material is very feasible to use as learning media.
