The problems contained in this study are 1) learning media that are less varied, 2) the utilization of science and technology that has not been maximized in the learning process, 3) the spirit of learning is lacking because of the use of printed learning media in the modern era. This study aims to determine how to develop learning animation videos and to determine the attractiveness, feasibility and effectiveness of learning animation videos in Economics subjects on Introduction to Economics material for class X IPS SMAK BPK Penabur. The model used in this research is the 4D model developed by Thiagarajan. The 4D model consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subjects of this research were X3 social studies class students at SMAK BPK Penabur as many as 17 people. The results showed that the learning animation video on the subject of Economics of Introduction to Economics material for class X IPS was declared feasible to use as additional learning media, which was seen from the results of the validator's assessment and the results of the student response test. On the results of the assessment of linguists obtained an average score of 4.57 with a very valid category, material experts obtained an average score of 4.71 with a very valid category, and media experts obtained an average score of 4.14 with a valid category. In the response test that has been carried out to students, the attractiveness test obtained a percentage of 93% with a very interesting category, the effectiveness test obtained a percentage of 97% with a very effective category, the feasibility test obtained 95% with a very feasible category. So it can be concluded that the development of learning animation videos on Economics subjects on Introduction to Economics class X material can be used as additional learning media at SMAK BPK Penabur.
