Abstract

The problem in this study is the Jigsaw learning model and students' economic learning outcomes are relatively low. During the economic learning process, students are not actively involved in learning interactions with either the teacher or their friends. This study aims to determine the Effect of the Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning Model on the Economic Learning Outcomes of Class XI IPS Students in the Even Semester of SMA Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. This study uses an experimental method using the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model. The population in this study were all class XI IPS students in the even semester of SMA Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung in the 2023/2024 academic year. The population was 197 students, the sample consisted of class XI-5 as an experimental class using the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model totaling 30 students and XI-6 as a control class using the conventional learning model totaling 30 students. Hypothesis testing uses the t-test statistical formula. After the hypothesis testing was conducted, the calculation of economic learning outcome data was obtained using statistical formulas, then t_hit = 6.66 and t_daf = 2.00 were obtained at the 5% level. This means that there is an influence of the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model on the economic learning outcomes of class XI students in the even semester of SMA Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung in the 2023/2024 Academic Year.
