Abstract

The problem that is the subject of discussion in this research is that there are still class XI IPS students who get low scores below the KKM, the application of learning models is still conventional, the involvement of class The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of the problem based learning (PBL) learning model on the economic learning outcomes of class XI IPS students at SMA Negeri 2 Menggala Tulang Bawang. Researchers used experimental research methods, namely the problem-based learning (PBL) learning model. The population in this study were all students in class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 2 Menggala Tulang Bawang for the 2023/2024 academic year. The sample in this study consisted of 2 classes, namely class XI IPS 1, totaling 34 students as the experimental class and class The sampling technique uses non-probability techniques. The instrument in this research uses a multiplechoice test with 50 questions and hypothesis testing in this research uses the t_hit formula to determine whether there is an influence of the problem-based learning (PBL) learning model. Hypothesis testing uses the statistical formula t_hit where the value of t_hit = 5.06 is obtained and the t distribution table at the 5% significance level shows that t_daf is t (1-½α) = 2.00 so it is proven that t_hit>t_daf means the hypothesis Ho is rejected, meaning Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the problem-based learning (PBL) learning model on the economic learning outcomes of class XI IPS students at SMA Negeri 2 Menggala Tulang Bawang for the 2023/2024 academic year.
