Abstract

The problem raised in this research is related to the lack of maximum student learning outcomes in class X economics subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Way Khilau for the 2024/2025 academic year. These problems are caused by teachers not being precise in selecting and using learning models, students' lack of interest in learning and students' lack of activity in participating in learning activities. This research aims to find out whether there is an influence of the Role Playing strategy on the learning outcomes of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Way Khilau for the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used is the experimental method. The population in this study were all class X social studies students, the samples taken were class X.IPS3 students as the experimental class and X.IPS4 as the control class. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling technique. The required data is obtained through administering test questions. The tests that will be used are previously tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was carried out using the t test formula according to Djana. From the results of the t test, the value of thit = 3.20 was obtained. From the t distribution table at the 5% significance level, it is known that t tab 2.00 means thit ttab. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Role Playing strategy on the economic learning outcomes of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Way Khilau for the 2024/2025 academic year.
