This study aims to: (1) develop and determine the feasibility of character-based interactive learning media in terms of validity, attractiveness, and practicality as learning media, (2) determine the effectiveness of using character-based interactive learning media on flat-sided building materials to facilitate students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This research and development uses the ADDIE model with stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The validation of the developed media is carried out by expert lecturers who are competent in their fields in terms of material, language and media. Then the media was tested on class VIII students of SMP 17.1 Gedong Tataan, then the responses of students and teachers were seen after using the media through a questionnaire and obtained interesting and practical media. From the results of the validation of the material obtained a value of 4.85 with the "Valid" criteria, the language validation obtained a value of 4.78 with the "Valid" criteria, and the media validation obtained a value of 4.75 with the "Valid" criteria. This the development product is feasible to be used as a learning medium.
