PENGARUH PENDEKATAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA PADA SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 1 LANGKAPURA

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a realistic mathematical approach on problem solving ability in learning mathematics in grade IV SD Negeri 1 Langkapura. The method in this research is to use the experimental method. The variables in this study consisted of 2 variables, namely: the independent variable was a realistic mathematical approach while the dependent variable was problem solving ability. The population in this study were all odd semester students of SD Negeri 1 Langkapura for the academic year 2021-2022 divided into 4 classes. The sample was obtained using a cluster random sampling technique. The sample selected is the experimental class consisting of 27 students and the control class consisting of 28 students. After the research results are obtained, then the normality test and homogeneity test are carried out. Based on the results of the calculation of hypothesis testing that has been carried out by the author, it is known that t hit 13.16 > from the distribution table with a level of 5% then tdaf 2.00 this shows that t hit > t daf so Ha is accepted This means that the experimental class has a high average higher than the control class, from which we can conclude that in SD Negeri 1 Langkapura the Effect of Realistic Mathematics Approach on Problem Solving Ability in Mathematics Learning of Grade IV Students.
