Based on the initial observations that the author made at Tanjung Seneng 1 Elementary School, it showed that student learning activity was still relatively low. The teacher's efforts that have been made to increase student activity in learning are by using the lecture, discussion, and question and answer methods. Student learning activity, however, has not increased. Therefore, the researcher tries to provide a solution to increase student learning activity, namely by applying the Team Quiz Learning Strategy. This study aims to implement the Team Quiz learning strategy to increase student activeness in the sub-theme The Importance of Healthy Food for the Body in class V of Tanjung Seneng State Elementary School 1, Bandar Lampung. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) whose implementation is carried out in the form of an activity cycle. The subjects in this study were teachers and all fifth grade students of Tanjung Seneng 1 Public Elementary School, totaling 26 people, 12 boys and 14 girls. While the object of this research is the implementation of the Team Quiz learning strategy and increasing student learning activity in science subjects, 1. Bandar Lampung. In the first cycle, it showed activity with a percentage of 59% quite high. In the second cycle there was an increase in learning activity with a percentage of 79% which was classified as high.
