Abstract

The main problem in this study is that the acquisition of student learning outcomes has not been maximized. This study aims to determine the improvement of Civics learning outcomes through numbered head together (NHT) learning in fourth grade students of SDN 2 Fajar Mataram. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research subjects were 21 students. CAR design includes planning, action & observation, and reflection. The results showed that there was an increase from an average of 7.31 (quite active) in cycle I to 7.88 (active) in cycle II. Student learning outcomes reached an average score of 69.52 in the first cycle and increased to 74.29 in the second cycle. The learning mastery of students also increased where in the first cycle the percentage was 71.43% and the second cycle was 85.71%. So it can be concluded that learning by applying the numbered head together learning model can increase the activity and learning outcomes of Civics for fourth grade students at SDN 2 Fajar Mataram in the 2021/2022 academic year.
