Abstract

This research is motivated by the still not maximal learning activity and student learning outcomes. This study aims to increase activity and learning outcomes using a make a match type of learning model. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests and documentation. The results obtained 1) Teacher activity in the first cycle of the first meeting was 75% at the second meeting was 81.25%, in the second cycle the first meeting was 89.58% at the second meeting was 95.83%. 2) Student activity in the first cycle of the first meeting was 62.5% at the second meeting was 70.83%, in the second cycle the first meeting was 83.33% at the second meeting was 91.67%. 3) Student learning outcomes in the first cycle for the pretest score were obtained by 44% and increased in the posttest score obtained by 60% and in the second cycle the pretest score was obtained by 72% while the posttest score was obtained by 88%.
