The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using audio-visual media on student learning outcomes in the pre-literacy material in the history subject of class X IPS MAN 1 Pesawaran academic year 2021/2022.</em></p><p><em>&nbsp;</em><em>The method used in this study is an experimental method. The population in this study were all students of class X IPS MAN 1 Pesawaran totaling 75 students, the sample consisted of two classes, namely class X IPS 1 and X IPS 2, where class X IPS 2 was the class. The experimental group consisted of 25 students and class X IPS 1 as the control class, which consisted of 30 students. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling technique. The instrument in this study used multiple choice tests and hypothesis testing in this study using the </em><strong><em>.</em></strong></p><p><em>&nbsp;</em><em>Hypothesis testing using the statistical formula thit where the value of thit = 2.59 and the t distribution table at a significant level of 5% is known to tdaf is t (1-1/2α) = 2.00 so it is proven that thit &gt; tdaf means that the hypothesis Ho is rejected, meaning Ha Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using audio-visual media on student learning outcomes in the pre-literacy material in the history subject of class X IPS MAN 1 Pesawaran academic year 2021/2022.</em></p> ER -
